Choirs There are many amateur choirs in Hong Kong and the three below are among the more well-known: The Hong Kong Oratorio Society was founded in 1956 and has been one of the more active choirs in the region. They promote choral singing to the public through regular performances of a wide range of choral works, including some local premieres. Prof. Chan Wing Wah is the current Music Director. Chinese University of Hong Kong Chorus The CU Chorus is made up of a group of students and alumni of the CUHK who has great interest in singing and choral performances. Apart from performing in annual local concerts and Christmas performances, the Chorus also performed with local music groups and overseas organisations.
